NORTH COAST FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR FARM TO SCHOOL WORKSHOP

The North Coast Food Service Director Workshop is brought to our amazing California School Institution Food Service directors by the USDA AMS Local Food Promotion Program Grant and coordinated by Rumiano Cheese. This training provides hands on demonstrations with industry leading support organizations to educate staff of the procurement and use of our locally grown, natural and organic food products sourced from the North Coast. This is the inaugural program year of at least a three year opportunity. There are two optional days at no additional charge for tours that will showcase specifically where our dairy and beef products are raised and grazed in addition to several tours of processing and sale sites that support making products available. Participants will engage in hands on learning and direct access to both Rumiano and community partners throughout the duration of the event while being able to engage with the farmers that grow the product!
