Internship: Upcycling and Reimagining Cheese Trim

We are looking for a talented intern with an engineering mindset to be a vital part of reimagining how Rumiano and retailers across the Western United States can upcycle cheese trim (the irregularly shaped pieces of cheese left after large blocks of cheese are sliced or cut and packaged into uniform shapes). Rumiano is committed to developing leadership in sustainability through innovation in packaging, processing efficiencies, reduced losses/waste, and novel uses of co-products (net-zero dairy processing plants). That commitment includes continuing and expanding the upcycling and reimagining of our cheese trim.
