Prosciutto Grilled Cheese

Prosciutto Grilled Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 slices, grainy bread
  • 2 slices Prosciutto
  • slices of Rumiano Dry Jack or Peppato cheese
  • sliced apple (or pear)
  • blackberry jam
  • butter

Directions

Lay the Prosciutto on a piece of foil, sprayed with Pam. Bake in 350 oven until crispy, about 5 minutes. On the grainy bread, spread blackberry jam, then lay the crispy Prosciutto, then the apple (or pear), then the cheese. Lightly spread butter on the outside of the top and bottom grainy bread and place in a frying pan over medium heat. Grill until lightly browned and the cheese has melted. You can cover with a lid to "steam" for a minute.
