Pepper Jack Cheese Sticks


  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 package Rumiano Organic Pepper Jack Cheese
  • wonton wrappers
  • olive oil


To prepare dipping sauce, combine flesh from avocado (remove seed and skin) with sour cream, lime juice, and cumin in a bowl and stir with fork or whisk until smooth. Place in refrigerator. Slice cheese into 1/4 inch strips (about 20). Using your finger, apply water to edges of wonton wrapper, lay a strip of cheese on it, and fold the wrapper over the cheese. Fold the ends over the end of the cheese, continue rolling the cheese in the wrapper and fold the ends to close until all strips are wrapped. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat to 350 degrees. Fry sticks, in batches if necessary, until golden brown, about 1 minute each side. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate. Serve immediately with avocado dipping sauce. ENJOY!
