Holiday16: Patty Melt Party Sliders

  • 8 ounces Rumiano Organic Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • 12 brioche slider buns (or any small roll)
  • 1 large yellow onion, sliced
  • 4 Tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 pound grass fed ground beef
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon poppy and sesame seeds

1. Preheat oven to 350. Line a small sheet pan with parchment and place the bottom halves of the buns on it. 2. Melt 1 Tablespoon of the butter in a skillet. Add onions and sauté until golden. Remove onions & set aside. 3. In the same skillet, brown the ground beef. Add the Worcestershire, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir in half of the grated cheese. 4. Spoon beef mixture onto the bottom buns. Top with the onions and the remaining cheese. Place the top buns onto the sandwiches. 5. Melt the remaining 3 Tbs butter in the microwave. Stir mustard into the melted butter and brush onto the top buns. Sprinkle the buns with the poppy and sesame seeds. 6. Bake the sliders for 15 minutes, then serve hot. If your taking them to a party, wait to bake them as soon as you arrive.
