2015: Mom's Cheese Ball

2015: Mom's Cheese Ball


  • 3/4 cup of Shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 block of Cream cheese
  • 2 Tab of dried chives
  • 1 teaspoon of dried dill
  • 2 stalks of scallions, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • chopped walnuts/pecans (chopped finely to roll the cheese ball in)


In a medium mixing bowl place the cream cheese, black pepper, the dried chives, and dill, mix then add 3/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and add chopped scallions - the mixture will be soft enough. Lay out saran wrap and place the mixture in the center of the paper, wrap and roll it into a ball. Place the ball in the frig for an hour before rolling the entire ball in finely chopped nuts.
