NASFT Winter Fancy Food Show
Rumiano Cheese Co. at the Fancy Food Show
The National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) trade shows have been the largest in North America since 1955. The Summer Show is held yearly in New York City, while the Winter Show is held here in San Francisco. These "events bring in more than 40,000 attendees from more than 80 countries and regions" across the world. These shows provide a central location for hundreds of thousands of "innovative specialty food products," attracting influential members of trade, consumers and trade and consumer press organizations from everywhere imaginable.
Rumiano Cheese Co. was lucky enough to attend this year's Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, from the 20th through the 22nd of January. The California Milk Advisory Board (CMAB) invited Rumiano Cheese Co. to share a booth with California milk producers, cheese makers and other California based dairy companies. Sharing a booth with multiple companies is advantageous because of the close quarters. The shared space makes it very easy to meet new faces, and reconnect with old friends in the industry.
The NASFT Winter Fancy Food Show is a great way to show products to a large audience of consumers, retailers, exporters, manufacturers, and specialty buyers. This was the second Winter Fancy Food Show Rumiano Cheese was able to show off our "Rumiano Family Organic" cheese.
To gain access to the Winter Fancy Food Show, attendees must purchase badges online, or onsite. The public is able to attend with an "Attendee" labeled badge. There are multiple badges available for different types of attendees, including "Exhibitors," "Manufacturers," and others. If you're interested in purchasing a badge for next year's show, keep on the look out on the NASFT Specialty Food Show website.
